On April 1, 2004, Iino Lines established an overseas office in London, the UK.
Of our total sales, two thirds comes from foreign sales (64.9% of total consolidated sales as of the interim period ended Sep. 2003,) and this ratios is expected to increase in future. Expanding our overseas network is becoming a matter of urgency, and following the opening of our Dubai office in October of last year, we recently upgraded our London representative office to a separately incorporated subsidiary. By locating an overseas subsidiary in the international center for the shipping industry, we will strengthen our sales and information gathering capabilities. This will enable us to respond quickly and appropriately to the trends in the rapidly changing shipping industry.
