Since the foundation in 1899, IINO has developed as an independent company by building close relationships with the customers and developing both Shipping and Real Estate businesses (what we call IINO MODEL), over its 120-plus year-history.
The environment surrounding our business has changed dramatically since the Covid pandemic. In Shipping business, changes have occurred in the global maritime logistics due to the situation in Ukraine, ship prices have soared due to inflation, and investment in next-generation vessels to reduce GHG emissions is required. In Real Estate business, it is required to respond appropriately to the ever-changing business environment, with the changes in people’s behavior patterns and values due to the Covid pandemic. In order to realize the IINO VISION for 2030, ideal vision of the IINO Group set forth in the mid-term management plan, we aim to enhance our corporate value by creating both economic and social value under any circumstances.
Our management policy defines safety as the foundation of our business. We believe it is important to ensure safety, and to have all our Group members think and act on their own to respond to changes in the business environment. To this end, in addition to securing a diverse workforce and developing human resources, we will promote the development of a work environment where people want to work and promote a system in which the Company and its members can grow together and contribute to society, while earning the trust of stakeholders through sustainable development of our business.
