IINO Group Policy on Social Contribution
IINO Group's management policy, which is based on our corporate philosophy, states that as a responsible member of society, we will contribute to resolving various social issues in the context of society. By this, we have established "The Social Contribution Policy", and as a company, we will proactively work towards solving social issues, as well as support volunteering and social contribution activities done by group executives and employees.

Initiatives in Each Priority Area
1. Natural environment/Biodiversity
The Shipping Business, one of the pillars of the IINO Group, is inseparably linked to the marine environment. In order to preserve the marine environment, we believe it is important to preserve the natural environment as a whole, including the rivers that lead to the sea and the forests that are the source of the rivers. We are also actively engaged in the Real Estate Business, another pillar of our group, to conserve the diverse living organisms that make up the natural environment.
Forest maintenance project in Nagatoro Town, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture
On February 2, 2023, we concluded the "Saitama Prefecture Forestation Agreement" with the Chichibu Regional Forest Association (President: Hirofumi Yoshida) and Saitama Prefecture (Governor: Motohiro Ohno) and are investing in the creation of a 7-hectare forest in Nagatoro-cho, Saitama Prefecture. As part of the reforestation project, Group executives and employees volunteered to plant trees in May and planted "low-pollen Japanese cedar," which contains 99% less pollen than conventional species.

Environmental conservation activities at "The IINO Forest"
At "The IINO Forest", a space open to the public on the grounds of the IINO Building, we have been aiming to restore potential natural vegetation since 2014 and conduct activities to preserve the environment with biodiversity in mind.

Honeybee Project at the IINO Building
IINO Building has been beekeeping Japanese honeybees since 2014 by setting up Japanese honeybee hives. In addition, by holding honey collecting experience sessions for children at Family Day and distributing the collected honey to related parties and workers, we will deepen our understanding of efforts to preserve the Japanese honeybee and the IINO Forest ecosystem.

Beach Cleaning
On September 20, 2022, five volunteers from the IINO Group participated in a coastal cleanup sponsored by The Nippon Foundation at Makuhari Beach in Chiba Prefecture. We will continue to recruit participants and strive to protect the beautiful marine environment.
Supporting the Restoration of Marine Ecosystems
In 2025, we decided to support Shunan City's "Blue Economy for a Thriving Sea*1" project-an area with long-standing ties to our company through port calls by our vessels-and made a corporate hometown tax donation to the city. This project aims to promote the creation of a blue economy in the coastal area facing Tokuyama-Kudamatsu Port, including the expansion of blue-carbon offsets through the restoration of seagrass beds, tidal flats, and other marine ecosystems.
Among the initiatives included in the project, we endorsed and chose to support the Blue Carbon Promotion Initiative, which focuses on creating and expanding eelgrass and other blue-carbon ecosystems in the Oshimahigata tidal flat area.
In June of the same year, we also provided further support for the restoration of Shunan City's marine ecosystem, including purchasing 3.2 t-CO2 worth of J-Blue Credits*2 generated through the city's "Shunan Oshima-Tidal-Flat 'Tsunagaru' Blue Carbon Project in Tokuyama-Kudamatsu Port" and participating in a local tidal flat preservation activity.

2. Regional Contribution
The support from the local communities is essential for the IINO Group's business activities. We will continue to strive to build closer relationships with people in each region and contribute to regional development through dialogues.
Lunchtime cleanup volunteer
As an activity in which our group employees can casually participate, we have been conducting cleanup activities around the IINO Building and Hibiya Park jointly with several other tenant companies since 2014. After the suspension for two and a half years due to COVID-19, the activity resumed in the spring of 2023 and is held three times a year. The most recent activity was held in November 2024 and was attended by 4 companies (including 10 IINO Group employees). We plan to continue to hold this event on a regular basis with our partner companies.
3. Support for recovery from disasters, donations for developing countries, and humanitarian aid

The IINO Group donates disaster relief funds to help the people in the disaster-stricken areas.

Rescue Ships in Distress
When a vessel owned, managed, or operated by the IINO Group receives a request to rescue a ship in distress, the vessel immediately goes to the scene to rescue people.

Donation for developing countries
Since 2021, the IINO Group has been collecting stationery no longer needed in the office and recycled items to donate to NPOs for children in developing countries, mainly in Southeast Asia and Africa. Across three donation drives, we have collected 37 boxes worth of stationery and recycled items for donation.
Humanitarian aid for Ukraine
The IINO Group donated 10 million yen in total through the Japanese Red Cross Society and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to support the people of the country and those forced to evacuate. We also conducted fundraising activities. We are deeply concerned about the situation people of the country are facing and sincerely hope that the situation will be resolved as soon as possible and that a peaceful and safe world will be restored.
4. Promotion of Cultures
The IINO Hall & Conference Center located in the IINO Building has been used for lectures, symposiums, ceremonies, rakugo performances, Japanese music/classical concerts, movie previews, etc. dating back to the time of the former IINO Building. A total of 404 such events took place in FY2024. We are carrying out the following activities in the hope that the IINO Building will continue to be loved by many people for various cultural and entertainment activities.
Lunchtime Concert
The grand piano on display on the 1st floor of the IINO Building had been used in the former IINO Building. It is an "Imperial model" made by Austrian Bösendorfer and has a larger number of keys than usual. Since 2012, we have invited various performers, mainly pianists but also vocalists and wind instrumentalists, to hold free lunchtime concerts once a month to promote culture and provide performance opportunities for young musicians. The concert was suspended for about three years due to COVID-19, but resumed in April 2023 and is now held on the third Wednesday of each month. Since 2012, the concerts have been held a total of 127 times (as of January 2026).
5. Cultivation of Awareness for Social Contribution
Volunteering Support Program
To help employees broaden their perspectives and develop initiative and collaboration skills through community engagement, we have introduced the Volunteer Support Program. Under this program, employees are eligible for up to seven days of volunteer leave each year, along with reimbursements of up to 30,000 yen to cover transportation and insurance expenses, providing a framework that supports their participation in volunteer activities. From FY2012 to FY2022, we operated a leave system dedicated specifically to disaster-relief volunteering. Beginning in FY2023, however, the program was formalized and expanded-extending both the scope of eligible activities and the maximum number of days that may be taken.
The program continues to be utilized actively: 12 employees participated in FY2024, and 7 employees in FY2025. We will remain committed to fostering talent through ongoing support for social contribution activities.

Policy on Communicate Initiatives in the Real Estate Business
The IINO Group believes that for cities and towns to be sustainable in social and environmental terms, all stakeholders, including the tenant employees working at the office buildings it owns, nearby workers, the customers of IINO Hall, and local communities must function in a healthy manner. Our basic approach to initiatives aimed at local communities in the Real Estate Business is the provision of spaces that enable high-quality offices comfortable to people and that are friendly to the environment, and spaces that contribute to the dissemination of culture. As part of this approach, we work to improve energy efficiency, implement disaster prevention and security measures, and engage with the community on social issues such as the provision of safe and healthy environments. Additionally, in order to develop offices that take the nearby community into account, we help form the local landscape such as with the NS Toranomon Building, which was awarded the Scenery Town Development Prize, or with the IINO Building, we provide disaster prevention stockpiling space to local governments as a way to enhance regional disaster preparedness. We also form links with the surrounding environment and work to provide spaces that contribute to the dissemination of culture at IINO Hall.
Initiatives for Tenant Employees and Local Communities
As initiatives aimed at tenant employees of the IINO Building and workers in the nearby area, we run events to distribute seedlings that have sprouted from seeds in the IINO Forest. We also cooperate with tenants to promote energy savings by visualizing energy consumption using the building energy management system (BEMS) and conduct annual emergency drills based on a major earthquake scenario with the cooperation of all tenants. As a result of developing a building safety management system, the IINO Building has obtained the Excellence Mark as a building certified as well prepared for fire under the Certified Fire Safety Building Indication System operated by the Tokyo Fire Department.
As an initiative aimed at the local community, the IINO Building contributes to local fire and disaster prevention by providing space for stockpiling disaster supplies free of charge to local governments to prepare for major disasters.
The IINO Building also supports the Hibiya Park Gardening Show held each autumn in the adjacent Hibiya Park, where it distributes seedlings that have sprouted from seeds in the IINO Forest.
Consideration of Barrier-Free Design and Public Transportation Access
Based on the belief that it is vital for a community to function healthily, the IINO Group provides high-quality offices designed with barrier-free facilities and access to public transportation while taking people and the environment into account and reflecting our policy of eliminating all forms of discrimination, including on the basis of disabilities or impairments. Specifically, at the IINO Building and Shiodome Shiba-Rikyu Building, we have installed universal design elevators and toilets.
In some of our real estate developments, including the IINO Building, we have conducted assessments on compatibility for persons with disabilities, and have taken action based on laws and regulations. Moreover, for all of the office buildings we own in Japan and overseas, we ensure that access to the nearest public transportation is within a 10-minute walk. Additionally, all of the office buildings we own in Japan are located within Tokyo's 23 wards and feature excellent access to Haneda and Narita airports.
