IINO Group Procurement Policy
As a global company, the IINO Group (the Group) recognizes that it has a social responsibility to conduct procurement with respect for the human rights of all stakeholders and to ensure environmental and occupational health and safety in its supply chain. We have established the "IINO Group Procurement Policy" with the aim of building mutually trusting relationships with our suppliers and contributing to the realization of a sustainable society. This policy was approved by the Board of Directors on May 25, 2023. The Sustainability Promotion Department will periodically review this policy to determine whether revisions are necessary, and all officers and employees of IINO LINES and its subsidiaries will be informed of all changes.
IINO Group Supplier Code of Conduct
The IINO Group (the Group) has established "The IINO Group Supplier Code of Conduct" based on "The IINO Group Procurement Policy", which has been established as a procurement guideline based on the IINO Group philosophy. We request that all the Group suppliers comply with each of the following points. We also request your cooperation in checking the status of compliance with this Code of Conduct. This policy was approved by the Board of Directors on May 25, 2023.
Initiatives
Initiatives Toward Responsible Procurement
In FY2023, we established the IINO Group Procurement Policy and the IINO Group Supplier Code of Conduct. In FY2024, we asked approximately 150 suppliers to comply with the Code. In September 2024, we assessed human rights risks among suppliers through a survey,* and the results were reported to the Risk Management Committee. Moving forward, we will conduct surveys and interviews with suppliers on a regular basis to discover any human rights risks in the supply chain at an early stage and address them accordingly

| Analysis of FY2024 Survey Results | Approximately 70% of suppliers have established sustainability frameworks and policies-a lower percentage compared with those that are working to address individual sustainability issues (human rights, environment, prevention of corruption, etc.). This finding suggests that many suppliers are prioritizing initiatives on specific issues over the establishment of Company-wide sustainability promotion structures.Out of the suppliers that responded, none were deemed to present a high level of risk. |
