IINO received a "Bronze" rating from EcoVadis for Performance

IINO Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. (IINO Lines) hereby announces that we have received a "Bronze (*)" rating from EcoVadis, an international rating organization based in France. EcoVadis assesses the sustainability of more than 130,000 companies in 180 countries around the world in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The "Bronze" rating is awarded to the top 35% of all companies assessed, and the Group has achieved a score equivalent to the top 17% of all companies.
In our mid-term management plan "The Adventure to Our Sustainable Future," announced in May 2023, we have identified "overcoming materiality" as a key strategy to create social value. We have formulated and are implementing a plan to achieve a decarbonized society, with the aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Additionally, we continuously address various sustainability challenges by enhancing our human capital, responding to societal demands such as respecting human rights including supply chain, and improving our governance. We believe that the Group's efforts to date have been highly evaluated and earned us the "Bronze" rating. We will continue to promote sustainability initiatives to ensure a sustainable future for all stakeholders.
