IINO received CDP "A- (A minus)" score in climate change questionnaire
IINO Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. (IINO Lines) is pleased to announce that on December 10, 2025, we received a leadership-level score of "A minus" in the "2025 Climate Change Questionnaire" from CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project, Head Office: London, UK)*, an international environmental non-profit organization. This marks the fourth consecutive year that IINO has received an "A minus" score.
CDP is an authoritative international organization in the environmental field that conducts climate change-related surveys of global companies and others on greenhouse gas emissions and the risks and opportunities posed by climate change, and evaluates and publishes the results based on the answer of surveys. An "A minus" score is the second highest rating, after the highest "A" score, and indicates our outstanding information disclosure and efforts to address climate change.
In our mid-term management plan, "The Adventure to Our Sustainable Future," the IINO Group has identified the formulation and implementation of a plan to realize a decarbonized society as one of our key strategies, and has established a new roadmap to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and is taking concrete measures to achieve this goal. We believe that the "A minus" rating we received in the CDP 2025 Climate Change Questionnaire is a recognition of the leadership level of the Group's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve a decarbonized society.
We have also responded to CDP's "2025 Water Security Questionnaire" and received an "A-" rating. We believe this reflects recognition of our Group's efforts in managing water-related risks and promoting sustainable water resource conservation in both our shipping and real estate businesses.
We will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through our efforts to reduce and prevent emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants, conserve resources and energy, reduce waste, effectively use water resources, and recycle.
