Notice Regarding the Complete Renovation of the Head Office
Since 2022, IINO Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. (IINO Lines) had been renovating its office space completely in order to respond to an increase in employees and diversification of work styles and to strengthen our human capital. All construction has now been completed and the new office has been unveiled.

During the renovation, we gradually changed the work and construction areas without temporarily relocating to other offices. We also incorporated innovative solutions that make use of the facilities and specifications of the IINO Building. The new office serves as an office floor showroom for tenants. Designed with the concept of "an office that fosters the next wave of innovation," the new office has various areas, aiming to enhance employee engagement, activate communication, and improve operational efficiency.
<Office Area>
In order to encourage communication among employees, the office area has been reorganized to promote a hot desking system, with desks arranged in a way that is more conducive to conversation than before. Additionally, meeting areas have been set up in various locations to facilitate efficient meetings. Furthermore, the number of documents in the office areas has been successfully reduced by 70%compared to the pre-renewal.
<Lounge Area>
In order to promote communication among employees, we introduced a spacious lounge area with sofas and coffee machines. The lounge area can be used not only for refreshment during work breaks, but also for various purposes, such as meetings with clients and in-house events, contributing to the creation of communication opportunities beyond work that cannot be obtained through remote work.
<Conference Room Area>
We have installed a state-of-the-art web conferencing system in each meeting room, not only as a space for inviting clients for business meetings, but also to accommodate web conferencing, which has become popular after the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the number of private booths for web conferencing has been increased to six times the number before the renovation to meet the growing demand for web conferencing and ensure smooth communication. In addition, online tools used by the Emergency Response Headquarters in the event of a major accident have been revamped to enable faster and more efficient emergency response.
<Rest Area "Nagi-no-Ma">
"Nagi-no-Ma" is a new space where employees can take a rest even during working hours, consisting of a small tatami-mat floor and a wooden veranda. The space is designed to allow employees to take off their shoes and relax in a relaxed atmosphere by utilizing Japanese natural materials in various areas. When employees feel tired during work, they can spend some quiet time in the room, creating an environment where they can work in a healthy and productive state while maintaining peace of mind (calmness).
Our new office, with its variety of spaces, has already transformed the way our employees work. We will continue to experiment with new spaces, such as lounges and rest areas, to encourage communication and engagement among employees.
Our corporate philosophy, IINO PURPOSE, expresses our belief that "What we offer in buildings is more than just space. We create secure and comfortable environments where people come together and new ideas and aspirations are born. By facilitating such sharing of wishes, a more creative future unfolds before us." We will continue our efforts to enhance our corporate value while embodying this idea in our newly renovated headquarters office.
