Donations to the Japan agency of Maritime Education and Training for Seafarers (JMETS)

IINO Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. (IINO Lines) has made a donation to the Japan agency of Maritime Education and Training for Seafarers (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan; President: Tetsuaki Tajima; hereinafter ' JMETS ').

JMETS is Japan's largest seafarer education and training organization, training seafarers through academic education and navigation training. IINO Gas Transport Co., Ltd., which is engaged in domestic and short-sea shipping in IINO Group, receives significant cooperation from the organization in securing excellent seafarers.

We are keenly aware of the importance of securing and training seafarers in the domestic shipping industry, where there is a growing shortage of seafarers, and made a donation to support further development of seafarer education promoted by JMETS.

On 17 April, President Tajima visited the company and we received a letter of appreciation.

IINO Group will continue to strengthen its human capital initiatives in cooperation with JMETS and other seafarer education institutions to ensure safe operations.
