About Corporate Data and Business Strategy
When was the Company established?
What kind of company is IINO LINES?
We are a company that has been engaged in both the Shipping Business, operating a fleet of roughly 100 vessels, and the Real Estate Business, mainly leasing office buildings in central Tokyo. In the Shipping Business, we contribute to the global economy through marine transport by operating oil tankers, large LPG and LNG carriers, medium and small gas carriers, and dry bulk carriers, in addition to our mainstay chemical tankers. In the Real Estate Business, on top of leasing office buildings, we are also participating in the overseas office building business, and developing the hall business and photo studio business.
For details, please refer to "IINO Business."
Please tell me about your management strategy and business vision.
At IINO LINES, our Corporate Philosophy: IINO PURPOSE states "Connecting Wishes. Building a Brighter Future. Always Safety First. Moreover, in our mid-term management plan "The Adventure~Future" (FY2023-FY2025), we formulated in May 2023, we are continuing our pursuit of "IINO VISION for 2030" as the goal set forth under the previous mid-term management plan, namely, our aim to be "an independent global corporate group that responds to the demands of the times and continues to evolve with creative ideas."
For details, please refer to our Corporate Philosophy and Mid-term Management Plan.
What sets IINO LINES apart from other shipping companies, and what are your strengths?
The IINO Group is unique in that it grows its business in both the Shipping Business (Oceangoing Shipping and Domestic / Short-sea Shipping), as well as the Real Estate Business. We strike a healthy balance in the management of both of these businesses in a business model, what we call the "IINO MODEL," that is based on the dual business pillars of the Shipping Business, which grows in line with the expansion of the global economy albeit with high market volatility, and the Real Estate Business, with its stable revenue given relatively stable markets. This model also offers a complimentary effect through risk dispersion.
In addition, in the Shipping Business, IINO Group's mainstay are its chemical tankers, and its fleet of such vessels is among the industry's top class.

About Financial Results Reporting and Finance
When is your fiscal year end, and when are your announcements of financial results?
Every year our fiscal year ends on March 31.
For details at our "IR Schedule."
Where can I confirm the latest financial results information?
Our latest announcements of financial results is available in our IR Library.
Please tell me about external factors such as exchange rates that may exert an impact on business performance.
Major factors affecting our business results include maritime cargo movements, freight market conditions, foreign exchange rates, and bunker price fluctuations.
In order to reduce the risk of shipping rate market conditions, which are highly volatile, the IINO Group has a mix of medium- to long-term contracts, together with spot contracts, and controls the ratio of these two types of contracts according to each type of vessel.
Regarding foreign exchange rates, since the main source of revenue in the Shipping Business is the dollar, basically, a weakening of the yen is positive for our business performance. Exchange rate sensitivity is available in the "Supplementary Report for Financial Results" for each quarter.
Concerning bunker price fluctuations, bunker prices are basically included in shipping rates.
Please tell me about the impact shipping market conditions have on business performance.
Of the vessels operated by IINO Group, some of the chemical tankers, dry bulk carriers, and a large LPG vessel are operated under spot contracts that are affected by market conditions. Other vessel types are covered by medium- to long-term contracts (roughly 3-15 years) and COA contracts (1 year), which are not affected by short-term market conditions, and these contribute to stable profits. Although the spot ratio does not fluctuate significantly, we raise or lower the ratio based on market conditions forecasts in order to secure profits.
The spot ratio is available in the "Supplementary Report for Financial Results" for each quarter.
*A large LPG carrier is market-linked vassel with medium-to long-term contracts, where only the freight rates are linked to the market conditions.
Where can I find the latest shipping market conditions?
We disclose the latest shipping market conditions in a news release on our website around the middle of every month. For details at the "Financials, Operating Performance, and Shipping Market." We also publish a "Glossary", so please refer to it for terminology related to our business.
